THREE EXHIBITIONS, ONE CONCEPT: HOW TASHKENT UNITED THE HEALTH AND BEAUTY INDUSTRIES

Tashkent hosted the specialised international exhibitions Beauty Uzbekistan 2026, Beauty Derma Central Asia 2026, and the 30th Anniversary Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition – TIHE 2026, from 28 to 30 April 2026, creating a unique business platform where the beauty and medical industries met on one site.
The event was organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.
Beauty industry exhibitions are rapidly gaining momentum thanks to their unique concept, which has resulted in the exhibition space more than doubling – by 55% compared to last year. More than 100 companies and brands from 15 countries participated in Beauty Uzbekistan 2026: Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UAE, and Uzbekistan. The statistics reflect the growing international interest and the project’s strengthening position as a key B2B platform focused on the implementation and development of a safe and high-quality beauty industry in Uzbekistan.
The combined exposition recorded 8,410 unique visitors with 11,354 visits, including return visits, also showing a year-on-year increase of almost 18%.
National pavilions were presented at the exhibition by the Republic of Korea and Poland, while the companies from Latvia participated in a joint stand. Their stands featured brands operating in the cosmetics, professional care, and related industry solutions segments.
BIOGEL (Russia), a brand of functional biorevitalisers, performed as the General Sponsor.
Beauty Uzbekistan and TIHE expositions featured a rich joint business programme, sponsored by GIPOPO – a manufacturer of infant food from Chernogolovka Company and the Silver Sponsor. The programme included expert sessions, thematic reports, master classes, and technology presentations, and was aimed at owners and managers of clinics, beauty salons, and spas, as well as industry manufacturers and professionals. The key topics covered R&D approaches in the beauty industry, development of balneological technologies and hydrotherapy, and use of professional ingredients and aromatic solutions. The sessions attracted the keen interest of numerous visitors and exhibitors thanks to their engaging topics and outstanding speakers. Among them were Mr. Ivan Baran, Regional Director for Central Asia and Eastern Europe at LUZI AG, Ms. Olga Yakovleva, International Permanent Makeup Expert and member of professional associations, and others.
A key element of the exhibition was the specialised B2B Negotiation Platform – Retail Buyers Matchmaking, which facilitated direct interaction between market participants, business meetings, and the development of long-term partnerships between manufacturers, distributors, and industry professionals.
The B2B zone became the focal point for visitors, exhibitors, and guests of the exhibition. Over the course of three days, it hosted talks and meetings between representatives of the French Delegation from Cosmetic Valley (10 manufacturers of cosmetics, ingredients, private label, R&D, and industry organisations), the Korea International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), and Beauty Uzbekistan exhibitors and visitors. These included industry associations, aesthetic clinics, beauty salons, distribution companies, retail chains, e-commerce, cosmetics manufacturers, and representatives from other industries. All these underscored the high level of international interest in the exhibition and its role as a bridge between European and regional beauty markets in the fields of cosmetology and dermatology.
On the third day, as part of Retail Buyers Matchmaking, a Memorandum on Long-term Cooperation was signed between Iteca Exhibitions and IBITA. The government-supported non-profit association of the Republic of Korea promotes the development of the beauty industry and the entry of Korean cosmetics companies into international markets.
Beauty Uzbekistan was memorable for its large-scale exhibition, vibrant business programme, and unique professional networking atmosphere. Exhibitors shared their impressions:
Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Mr. Jacek Michalski, Key Expert, Export Support Department (Poland):
– This is our first time participating in the Beauty Uzbekistan exhibition with a national stand and bringing eight Polish companies. This is a very interesting experience for us: it offers the opportunity not only to present our brands but also to truly get to know the Uzbek market and its participants. Uzbekistan today is a very interesting and rapidly developing country, and this is evident in everything we do. The number of visitors to our stand demonstrates that interest in European brands is truly high here, despite the intense competition and more complex logistics compared to other markets. We are very pleased with our participation and are confident that this is a great opportunity for Polish companies to develop new partnerships in the region.
LUZI, Mr. Ivan Baran, Regional Sales Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Switzerland:
– This isn’t my first time in Tashkent, and each time I see how quickly and beautifully the city and the entire country are developing. This is our first time participating in Beauty Uzbekistan, and for us, it’s an important opportunity to introduce ourselves, explore the market, and better understand its specifics. There’s a truly high interest in European brands here, and visitors are responding enthusiastically. We particularly appreciated the opportunity to hold a business seminar and networking session in a separate area of the business programme – this is especially important given the large number of guests and limited time at the stand. We’re already planning to return with an expanded team next year.
The synergy between the beauty and health exhibitions received extensive coverage in leading national and international media outlets, as well as on the websites of specialised media, government agencies, international organisations, diplomatic missions, and key industry players. The information campaign achieved a record-breaking total audience reach of 12,453,846 views on the project’s social media channels.
Registration is now open for participation in Beauty Uzbekistan 2027, which will take place on 27–29 April 2027.
